FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Lexington Technology Announces New Version of Time & Attendance Package Branded As LexTIME 4.0.

LexTIME 4.0 takes a proactive approach to time and attendance management.

Huntington Beach, CA — April 15, 2002 — Lexington Technology, developers for digitized personal and specialized identification software, today announced the availability of LexTIME™ 4.0, a robust, scalable Time and Attendance solution that allows human resource personnel to take a more proactive approach to their timekeeping procedures. This major release includes a number of enhancements, capabilities and infrastructure upgrades designed to facilitate enterprise Time and Attendance management. These include:

Report Generation

Easy access to printed attendance reports which will identify employees who consistently punch in late, punch out early, or take extended lunches and breaks. Employees won’t be over paid because the administrator can round their punches back to the assigned time or dock their time if necessary. All of this will occur automatically, upon the initial setup of these policies in the beginning and LexTIME 4.0 will implement them accurately and consistently every time.

Scheduling

The Schedule Builder is a powerful graphical tool with which to build, assign and view employee work schedules. With Schedule Builder you may build and maintain as many schedules as necessary. Schedules may be assigned to individual employees or to groups of employees. Schedule Builder allows the administrator to schedule time in 15 minute intervals and to use a variety of time codes. Additionally, various types of shift schedules may be developed and defined.

Timekeeping

The Timekeeping module will handle a number of timekeeping situations including the calculation of shift hours either from start to finish of the shift or within the calendar day, company holidays, part-time employees, and various ways of processing overtime. LexTime 4.0 can be used with both automatic time clocks and ID badges for data collection, or as a standalone timekeeping system using administrator or timekeeper developed schedules.

 Open Database Architecture

LexTIME 4.0 uses Microsoft or Oracle database technology which can interface with most organizational identification issuance, access control, payroll, customer relationship managenment, enterprise resource planning, sales force automation, and human resource information systems.

 Lexington Integration

In addition to having the option to create and issue basic identification cards from within LexTIME 4.0, some organizations require more sophisticated abilities to identify, issue, track and manage their employees and assets for use with the LexTIME 4.0 system; we offer our identification card personalization software. Card designs can include your corporate logo, employee photo, signatures, barcodes, background graphics, and variable text fields for name, title, and more. Flexibility to implement different designs for different departments, employment status, or security levels; all seamlessly integrated with LexTime 4.0, offering a complete identification card issuance/time tracking solution.
