Introducing the LT4000 "Floppy"
Time Recorder That's
right! Our newest Time Recorder comes equipped with the
standard 3.5" 1.44MB Floppy Disk Drive! Never has your
Time/Attendance data collection been so easy and hassle-free.
Why lose precious time bothering yourself with cables,
interfaces, protocols, and other headaches normally associated
with so-called "on-line" solutions? The LT4000
provides an easier way! Simply insert a Floppy Disk into the
LT4000's Floppy Disk Drive, press a button and oops! The
Time/Attendance data has been saved into a standard data file.
Now you can open this file on your PC and import the data into
your favorite spreadsheet or database. Or mail the disk to
another location. Or store it for the future use.
Why Floppy Disk? Well, despite a rapid advancement in storage
and communications technologies, the "good old"
Floppy remains the most widely accepted, popular, and
easy-to-use data exchange media. While it is true that some
new technologies open up exciting new possibilities, it is
also true that making those technologies work for you requires
an ever-increasing level of technical skills. Few can set up a
network. But just about anybody can handle the Floppy.
So when it turns out that most of your Customers are not
computer engineers, turn to the LT4000. After all, it's
simplicity that matters most these days. |
The "Floppy"
advantages
- Low installation & maintenance costs: no
wiring, no compatibility problems, the LT4000 works
"right out of the box"
- No User training required: just about anyone can
handle a Floppy Disk

Who will buy
the LT4000?
- Companies that don't need their Time/Attendance
data to be "real time" (in fact, most Companies don't
need
this)
- Companies with a lot of small outlets (i.e. fast
food chains, etc.) that are not normally equipped with
PCs and/or scattered over a vast territory. Supporting
an on-line IT solution for these types of enterprises can
be very costly
- Companies needing temporary installations (at a
construction sites, mobile offices, etc.) where setting
up communications may be difficult
